3.2 Virtual Events and Experiences
Virtual events and experiences allow people everywhere to participate in the Salt Lake Temple Celebration, no matter where they live.
These resources will become available starting in fall 2026 and can be shared during local activities or used individually at home. Many of these experiences are designed with the rising generation in mind, helping them learn about temples and feel closer to Jesus Christ.

Dedicate Video Series
In this six-episode series, young adults from several countries explore what temples teach about Jesus Christ, God’s plan, and the strength that comes from sacred covenants. In the final episode, they personally walk through the renovated Salt Lake Temple, inviting viewers to see its beauty and purpose through their eyes.

Unshaken
This film explains the remarkable undertaking to make seismic and other upgrades to the Salt Lake Temple during its multiyear renovation. Feel the deeper truth that Jesus Christ is the sure foundation for all of God’s children.

Beginning April 5, 2027, guests around the world can experience two high-fidelity virtual tours of the Salt Lake Temple: a guided tour and a self-guided discovery tour. Each creates an experience that feels like you are inside the Salt Lake Temple.
Guided Virtual Tour
Follow a narrated and cinematic tour through the Salt Lake Temple. This guided tour is similar to the in-person Open House Tour experience.
Virtual Discovery Tour
Explore the temple at your own pace. Select the rooms and details that interest you for an in-depth look at the temple’s architecture, spaces, renovation, and sacred purpose.
Live from Temple Square Video Broadcasts
Experience the Salt Lake Temple Celebration in real time through live video broadcasts from Temple Square. Hosted by local representatives in your language, these events connect your area with sister missionaries in Salt Lake City who will share what is happening on Temple Square and help you feel part of the worldwide celebration.
